The Arakawa River that flows through the town of Nagatoro in Chichibu is known for its rapids, but there are areas where the river does not flow and becomes a lake. The lake stand-up paddleboarding experience is popular, as even first-timers can enjoy rowing in the beautiful scenery, or sit in the boat and take a break. You can also try paddling along the river with a view of Nagatoro's pavement-like rocks!

Benkyoya serves flavorful and smooth handmade buckwheat (soba) noodles made from flour that is stone-ground from buckwheat grown in Hokkaido, Nagano, Ibaraki, and other domestic regions.
